Location is Key...and no one is better situated than The George Washington University

Situated in the heart of the Foggy Bottom district of Washington, DC, The George Washington University's main campus is minutes away from Dupont Circle, the Georgetown shopping and restaurant corridor, and the downtown "Golden Triangle" business district. You will find an unparalleled "neighborhood life" like nowhere else in Washington, DC!  The mix of shopping, dancing, dining, entertainment, and nightlife within a mile radius of campus adds to the experience of staying at GW.

Our residence halls are "neighbors" to Kennedy Center, the State Department, the World Bank and International Monetary Fund Headquarters, and just a few blocks away from the White House and the National Mall.  GW is located in the one of the best "neighborhoods" in the country, which contributes to the unique experience of a GW Summer stay.

Looking for a less urban, more pastoral setting...GW has that too!  GW's Mount Vernon Campus, located approximately three miles from our Foggy Bottom Campus, still within the District of Columbia, offers a more intimate, traditional college campus environment.  This smaller, fully contained campus of GW offers residence halls, classroom space, a dining facility, athletic fields, and a majestic grassy quad.  Mount Vernon is an ideal location for a Short-Stay Conference Group looking for a more intimate experience while still being able to easily access all that makes Washington, DC great!
