Dining Services
As
an urban campus bustling with students on the go, participating in
classes, internships, and a variety of stimulating extracurricular, GW
affords students the opportunity of a variety of dining options.
These
options include a variety of cafe, market, grab-n-go, restaurant,
gourmet prepared food, coffee, and retail venues strategically placed
in the heart of campus, where students live, and at convenient
off-campus dining choices in the surrounding neighborhoods — further
allowing our students to take full advantage of the diverse, social,
and cultural landscape of GW and
Catering is an option available to Conference Groups. In addition to the Colonial Catering available on the GW campus, there are a host of options available to Group Coordinators. Please contact GW Summer & Conference Housing for more information.
There are traditional and non-traditional dining halls at GW. The Mount Vernon Campus has a dining hall that is open from 10am to 2pm during the summer season. The Foggy Bottom Campus has a variety of vendors and restaurants on campus that serve various different budgets for your participants.

Ivory Tower Food Court offers a Potbelly’s Sandwich Works, Dunkin’
Donuts, Pita Pit, a self-service buffet-style food station, and a small
convenience-style grocery store that also does dry-cleaning. Be advised that summer hours may be limited. The

Bon Pain, a Mexican Burrito food station, a sandwich shop, an ice-cream
parlor, a hamburger joint, and a Bertucci’s sit-down restaurant. For
more restaurant sit-down style restaurant choices consider Friday’s
(located at the corner of 22nd and I) and a variety of other
restaurants on Pennsylvania Avenue including Thai food, Chinese food,
Pakistani food, and an American Pub.
