Fraternity & Sorority Option: Individuals & Interns
Fraternity and sorority housing at GW is a partnership between the university and each chapter. As such, individual guests are required to communicate direct with the House Manager of the GW chapter in advance of reserving Greek housing. Review the Reservation Process instructions below if you're interested in living in a chapter's residence for the summer.

Greek Housing consists of the following:
- Single occupancy bedrooms within a larger townhouse
- Bedrooms furnished with a bed, mattress, dresser, desk, chair, and a wardrobe or closet
- Most townhouses also offer a community kitchen, living and dining room
- An en-suite or community bathroom
- Air conditioning
2023 Fraternity & Sorority Housing Rates
The Summer 2023 housing rate/cost for the Fraternity & Sorority Option is $385 per week per person, with a minimum of 7 weeks of stay.
Rates do not include the 15.95% District of Columbia Gross Sales Tax. Review the qualifications to see if you can be considered for tax exemption.

Reservation Process
- Apply online through our Summer Housing Application Portal and select the Fraternity & Sorority Housing option. You may note the appropriate chapter house after selecting the GW-operated Fraternity & Sorority Housing option.
- After signing up, the House Manager will be notified of your application and will be required to approve/confirm your reservation made to GW Summer Housing. If the chapter does not approve your housing reservation, we will arrange alternate housing in one of our residence halls based on your initial housing request (alternate housing may require an additional cost).
