The Metro system is run by the Washington Metro Area Transit Authority. The Metro stations closest to the Foggy Bottom campus are Foggy Bottom-GWU station (23rd and I Streets, NW) and Farragut West station (18th and I Streets, NW). Both are on the orange and blue Lines. Parking is available at select Metro stations. Physically handicapped persons can ride MetroBus and MetroRail for half price with appropriate ID.
