Buff & Blue Option
The Buff & Blue Option consists of multiple-bedroom apartments with full kitchens, including dishwashers, bathrooms shared with no more than one other guest (except in South Hall 5-person units), and in-unit washers and dryers.
Amenities in the Buff & Blue Option include:
- In-unit washers and dryers
- Furnished with a bed, mattress, dresser, desk, chair, wardrobe or closet, and a dining table and chairs
- Private in-suite bathroom(s)
- A kitchen with a microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher, and refrigerator
- Air conditioning
2027 Buff & Blue Option Rates
The Summer 2027 housing rate cost for the Buff & Blue Option is $581 per week per person, with a minimum of 6 weeks of stay.
Rates do not include the 15.95% District of Columbia Gross Sales Tax. Review the qualifications to see if you can be considered for tax exemption.
Buff & Blue Buildings
1959 E Street is located next door to the Elliot School of International Affairs, the State Department, and is the closest GW residence hall to the White House. The building also features a rooftop terrace with beautiful views of the District.
