Metro Train and Bus
The Metro system will get you almost anywhere you need to go in the city and into Virginia and Maryland. The Foggy Bottom-GWU Station is serviced by the Orange, Blue, and Silver Lines. Keep in mind that on certain points of campus Farragut West may be even closer. The neighborhood also has 13 Metro Bus and 2 Circulator routes.
Capital Bikeshare
Sometimes the best way to get there, and to enjoy the view, is by bike. Capital Bikeshare has 3,700 bikes at 440 stations, 8 of which are in our neighborhood. Check out the 3-day passes and 30-day memberships.
Union Station, Regional Rail, Regional Bus
Baltimore, Philadelphia, and New York are in the area and we know that many of our summer guests will make a trip to one of these cities as part of their summer stay. If you are headed north of DC, chances are that your trip will start and end at Union Station.
