The George Washington University is the largest Summer Housing provider to groups and individuals in the Washington, D.C. region. Guests from all over the world have chosen GW to meet their housing needs for over 40 years because of our central location in D.C., safe and convenient campus, and competitive amenities. GW will be fully open for Summer 2025 and we are excited to welcome summer guests and groups to campus.
Our location in the heart of the Nation’s Capital is ideally situated for guests to take full advantage of everything that is available in D.C. GW Summer Housing takes great pride in offering convenient, flexible, and affordable housing. Our reservation process makes it easy to secure housing in Washington DC and request other services to round out your summer stay.

The Foggy Bottom Campus
During the Summer season, our Foggy Bottom campus hosts Individual Guests, Long-Stay Groups, and GW Short-Stay Groups. Located in Washington D.C., this campus contains over 100 university buildings, including 26 residence halls, spanning 42 acres. It includes reservable classrooms, meeting rooms, outdoor spaces, and many services to support your conference or event.

Our Location
Just blocks from the White House, National Mall, State Department, and Kennedy Center, our location is perfect for exploring and immersing yourself in D.C.'s summer experience. The Foggy Bottom Metro station on campus offers easy access across the city via the Orange, Blue, and Silver Lines.
